Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 medium bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup hemp hearts

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly spray a loaf pan and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, beat together the eggs, bananas, yogurt, maple syrup and brown sugar until fully combined.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently. Do not overmix. Fold in the hemp hearts.
  • Pour the batter into the the prepared loaf pan and place in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
  • Remove from the oven, and allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Remove from the pan then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
