Sesame Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 14 oz boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1 inch cubes

Sauce

  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoon brown sugar
  • ½ tablespoon rice vinegar
  • ½ tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tablespoon cornstarch

Garnish

  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1 sprig green onion, chopped

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, heat the canola oil over medium hear. Once the oil is hot, cook the chicken until cooked through, around 5 minutes per side.
  • Meanwhile, mix the sauce ingredients together in a small bowl.
  • Once the chicken is cooked through, mix in the sauce and cook for around 2 minutes, or until sauce is thickened and chicken is coated.
  • Remove from heat and top with sesame seeds and green onions.
