In the Ninja Creami pint, mix together the half and half, milk, sugar and cherry pie filling until fully combined. Cover and freeze for at least 24 hours.
Line a plate with parchment paper. Set aside.
In a small microwave safe bowl, microwave the chocolate chips and coconut oil in 30 second intervals, mixing until smooth.
Pour the melted chocolate onto the parchment paper lined plate and spread it evenly into a thin layer. Place in the freezer until ready to use.
Place the frozen pint container into the Ninja Creami and set it to Ice Cream. If it is powdery, set to Re-Spin.
Make a well in the center of the ice cream that extends to the bottom of the pint. Break up the frozen chocolate and place it in the well.
Place the container into the Ninja Creami and set to Mix-Ins.
