Cut the whole wheat buns in half. Place the bottoms in a 9x13 baking dish.
Top with evenly with the cheese, then the salami. Cover with foil and place in the freezer.
Take out of freezer a day before you are ready to use it. Or, you can put it in the oven right away.
Place the baking dish in the oven heated to 350°F. Cook for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
