Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
In a large bowl, mix together the oats, cinnamon and salt.
In a small microwave safe bowl, mix together the coconut oil and honey. Microwave in 10 second intervals, mixing until smooth. Mix in the brown sugar.
Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until fully incorporated.
Pour the granola onto the prepared baking sheet and spread evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for at least 10 minutes. Stir in the dates.
