Blackberry Sauce

Easy Blackberry Sauce recipe, perfect for topping your waffles, ice cream, pancakes.. or just eating with a spoon! Made special with peppermint vodka.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh blackberries
  • ½ tablespoon peppermint vodka
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoon water

Instructions

  • Place the blackberries, vodka and sugar in a small saucepan, and heat over medium heat. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and allow to simmer until the blackberries have softened, around 10 minutes.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the cornstarch and the water. Add to the blackberry mixture, and continue cooking until the sauce has reached your desired thickness, around 10 minutes.
