Preheat oven to 350˚F. Lightly grease an 8×8 baking pan and set aside.
Combine all ingredients except the chocolate chips in a food processor, and blend until completely smooth.
Stir in the chocolate chips, then pour into the prepared baking pan. Optional: sprinkle extra chocolate chips over the top.
Bake the brownies in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, then let cool at least 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
