Matcha Muffins

These fluffy Matcha Muffins are so quick and easy to make, they will become your new favourite snack idea. The best green tea muffin recipe I have tried!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 Tbsp matcha powder

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a muffin pan with paper liners and set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, cream together the sugar and egg. Add in the oil and milk, and mix until fully incorporated. 
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, salt, baking powder and matcha powder. Mix the flour mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  • Scoop into the prepared muffin pan and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
