Broccoli Pasta Bake
This Broccoli Pasta Bake is so easy to make and I am almost sure you have all the ingredients in the house! Swap out the pasta for pasta of your choice.

- 300 g penne pasta
- 300 g broccoli, cut into bite sized pieces
- 2 Tbsp salted butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 cup milk
- 1 Tbsp dijon mustard
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
Cook the pasta, adding the broccoli for the final 4-5 mins and cooking until tender. Drain, and pour into a 9×13 casserole dish. Preheat your broiler to high.
Heat the butter in the same saucepan and stir in the flour. Cook for 1 min, then gradually add the milk, stirring well between each addition. Bring to the boil, stirring, then simmer for 2 mins, before stirring in the mustard and half the cheese.
Mix the sauce into the pasta mixture. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the pasta mixture and broil on high for 3-4 mins until golden and bubbling.
