Cherry Sauce

- 3/4 lb fresh cherries, sliced and pitted
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 4 Tbsp water, divided
Add the cherries, sugar and 2 Tbsp water in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat until the cherries are tender.
Meanwhile, in a small bowl mix together the cornstarch and the remaining 2 Tbsp water until smooth.
Slowly whisk in the cornstarch mixture into the cherry mixture and cook at a low hear until the sauce has thickened.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
