- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup milk of choice
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 Tbsp salted butter
- 2 slices leftover banana bread
In a shallow bowl, mix together the egg, milk, cinnamon, sugar and vanilla.
In a medium skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Meanwhile, dip the banana bread into the egg mixture.
Place dipped banana bread onto the hot pan and fry the slices until golden brown. Flip and cook the other side.
Serve immediately with powdered sugar and syrup.
- There will be some egg mixture left over. You can probably use the egg mixture for 4 pieces of banana bread.
- Use gluten free banana bread to make these gluten free.
