Bacon and Broccoli Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 bunches broccoli, chopped
  • 2 medium carrots, diced
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 Tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/3 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/3 cup bacon, cooked and crumbled

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425˚F.
  • In a medium saucepan, steam the broccoli and carrots until crisp tender, around 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the cream cheese, milk, garlic powder and cheese. Mix in the cooked vegetables.
  • Pour the vegetable mixture into a 9 inch square baking pan and top with the breadcrumbs and bacon.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
