Cream Cheese Pancakes

Easy Cream Cheese Pancakes recipe. This is one of my favourite breakfast ideas to make for a lazy weekend brunch.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 3 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 Tbsp salted butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, salt, baking powder and sugar.
  • In a separate bowl, beat together the egg, milk, cream cheese, butter and vanilla extract. Slowly mix in the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until fully incorporated. 
  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat and spray with cooking
    spray. Scoop 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake, and flip when bubbles are covering the surface of the pancake. Cook the other side
    until it is golden.
