Applesauce Baked Oatmeal

Healthy Applesauce Baked Oatmeal recipe. Made with oats, applesauce and chia seed, this makes a quick and easy breakfast idea.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup quick oats
  • 1 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup applesauce
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350˚F. Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the oats, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and chia seeds. Add in the milk, applesauce, eggs and vanilla until smooth.
  • Pour the oatmeal into the prepared baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until edges are golden brown.
