Applesauce Baked Oatmeal
Healthy Applesauce Baked Oatmeal recipe. Made with oats, applesauce and chia seed, this makes a quick and easy breakfast idea.
- 1/2 cup quick oats
- 1 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup chia seeds
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup applesauce
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
Preheat the oven to 350˚F. Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish and set aside.
In a large bowl, mix together the oats, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and chia seeds. Add in the milk, applesauce, eggs and vanilla until smooth.
Pour the oatmeal into the prepared baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until edges are golden brown.
