Healthy Bounty Bars

Easy homemade Healthy Bounty Bars that are vegan, paleo and gluten free. Made with only 4 ingredients, these make great snacks.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 3 cups unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Line an 8x8 inch square pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together the coconut oil, shredded coconut and maple syrup. Pour into the prepared pan, and refrigerate until hardened, around 1 hour.
  • Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl in 30 second intervals, mixing until smooth. Pour on top of the hardened coconut layer. Refrigerate until the chocolate is hardened and cut into squares.
