- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 cup root beer
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
Frosting
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1/3 cup salted butter, softened
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 Tbsp milk
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly spray a 13x9 inch pan and set aside.
In a medium bowl, mix together the cake mix, root beer and vegetable oil until fully combined. Mix in the eggs one at a time until fully incorporated.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
For the frosting; In the bowl of a stand mixer, cream together all of the frosting ingredients until smooth. Spread over the cooled cake.
