Apple Pie Pancakes

You can finally have apple pie for breakfast with these apple pie pancakes! They are so easy to make, and are ready in no time.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 Tbsp salted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 medium apple, peeled and shredded

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the milk, egg, butter and vanilla extract until fully combined.
  • Add in the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, and mix until just combined. Fold in the apples.
  • Heat some oil on a skillet. Using a 1/3 cup measure, scoop batter onto the warm skillet. Cook for 1-2 minutes until small bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook the other side for 1 minutes.
  • Transfer the pancake to a plate, and repeat the process for the remaining batter.
