Nutella Drop Cookies

Shortbread meets Nutella in these deliciously soft and crumbly Nutella drop cookies.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup salted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Nutella

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat together the butter and icing sugar until smooth. Add in the vanilla extract. Mix in the flour one cup at a time until fully incorporated. Beat in the Nutella.
  • Using a cookie scoop or a tablespoon, drop the cookie dough onto the baking sheets.
  • Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes. Allow to cool on pans for around 5 minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

  1. I use this medium cookie scoop to make the cookies uniform in size.
  2. Store cookies in an airtight container on the counter for up to 5 days.
