Peppermint Magic Shell
A quick and easy topping for your ice cream. This Peppermint Magic Shell is a great Christmas dessert addition for your holiday gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/3 cup coconut oil
- 1/2 tsp pure peppermint extract
- crushed candy canes
Instructions
- Combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave in 30 second intervals, mixing after each interval until smooth, around 1-2 minutes. Mix in the peppermint extract.
- Drizzle on top of ice cream. Top with crushed candy canes.
Notes
Store in a mason jar at room temperature so that it is easy to heat up if it hardens.
