Cheddar Cream Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 450°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  • In the bowl of a stand mixer, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt and cheese.
  • Using the dough hook attachment on our stand mixer, slowly mix in the heavy cream until dough forms, around 5 minutes.
  • Form a rectangle on the prepared baking pan with the dough 1 inch thick. Cut into squares. Separate the squares slightly and bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes. If it is still not done, reduce heat to 350°F and cook until the middle of the biscuits seem firm.

Notes

  1. You can form into balls if you want.
  2. These are best enjoyed right away, but if you have extra store in an airtight container. Reheat in the microwave for 20 seconds.
