Peppermint Chunk Brownie Oatmeal

Easy Peppermint Chunk Brownie Oatmeal recipe. The perfect breakfast idea for the holidays. A great nut free treat for Christmas morning.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1-2 drops pure peppermint extract
  • 3 Tbsp peppermint chunks

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, bring the milk to boil.
  • Once it starts to boil, add the oats, cocoa powder and sugar. Cook uncovered over medium-low heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove from heat and mix in the peppermint extract. Pour into a bowl and top with peppermint chunks.
