Pumpkin Oatmeal

Easy Pumpkin Oatmeal recipe. Using canned pumpkin, this is a great nut free breakfast idea that will keep you full until lunch.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup milk of choice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 tsp pumpkin spice
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup

Instructions

  • Heat the milk and water in a small saucepan on medium heat. Add in the oats, pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice and chia seeds, if using. Bring to a boil, and reduce the heat. Allow to simmer for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • When thickened, pour into a bowl. Top with maple syrup.
