Gingerbread Oatmeal
Healthy Gingerbread Oatmeal Recipe. Can be made vegan and filled with all of the fall spices. Perfect breakfast for the holidays.

- 1 cup milk of choice
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 2 tsp pure maple syrup
- 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- pinch of ground cloves
- pinch of ground ginger
- pinch of ground allspice
- pinch of ground nutmeg
- pinch of ground cinnamon
- vanilla yogurt (optional)
Heat the milk in a small saucepan on medium heat. Add in the oats, maple syrup and the spices. Bring to a boil, and reduce the heat. Allow to simmer for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
When thickened, pour into a bowl. Top with yogurt, if desired.
