Ever since I made my maple salmon recipe, I have been obsessed with buying and cooking salmon.
But since the maple salmon was the only salmon recipe I have ever made, that was what I was making. Week after week. Month after month.
I thought it was time for a change. Enter this baked lemon garlic salmon.
If you know me at all, you will know that I am not one to get bored with eating the same thing over and over. Take my teenage self. Everyday was yogurt and granola for breakfast, peanut butter and jelly for lunch and baked potatoes and a Costco muffin for dinner. Every day. No fail.
Now that I’m older and I eat a little healthier… it has been oatmeal for breakfast, salami and cheese sandwich for lunch.. but when it comes to dinner, I am always switching it up.
Except for my salmon recipe. I mean, why fix what isn’t broken, right?
Until the other day. I bought salmon thinking I would be making my maple salmon… for the umpteenth time. But when I opened my pantry: le GASP! No maple syrup!
Well now what? I have salmon but no maple syrup? What can I do?
Taking a cue from my lemon garlic pasta,I decided to use my pantry staples for a quick and easy salmon idea. Lemon and garlic! How can you go wrong?
This Lemon and Garlic Salmon is seriously amazing. And the perfect weekday meal. All you need is 20 minutes, and you can have this super easy salmon ready to eat. Bye bye unhealthy takeout. Hello super easy salmon recipe!
