Boozy Peppermint Nutella Hot Chocolate

Bring out the holiday cheer with an adult version of a peppermint hot chocolate. Made with peppermint vodka and Nutella.

Boozy Peppermint Nutella Hot Chocolate

Last day of school before the New Year. Time to bring out the booze.

Because: 'tis the season to be jolly. And we all know that jolly is just another word for drinking.

And Nutella. Always Nutella.

^^ So as you can see, I have a picture of this very hot chocolate without the whipped cream and crushed candy canes. Boring, albeit pretty good. Because we always want a version for after the New Years when we want to lose weight and all that good stuff.

But calories don't count during the week of Christmas, right? Maybe the 5 teaspoons of Nutella in this drink isn't enough, because the addition of the whipped cream on top? Totally worth the 10 pounds you will gain after drinking this all holiday.

Obviously I needed to taste test this drink so many times this week. *sigh*. Tough work going on in this house.

If you wanted a drink like this to share with the kiddies around Christmas, you can substitute the peppermint vodka with a 1/4 teaspoon of pure peppermint extract. But for yourself? I highly recommend the vodka. Or peppermint schnapps. Or...peppermint shots.

Just make sure to put on your stretchy pants. I'll be wearing mine.

I'll probably be wearing them every day until I go back to work. Food baby, here I come!
