Let's face it. When you are at a tailgate party, you aren't typically eating health foods. Grilled food with bagged chips and pop are staples. But it doesn't need to be this way!

If you are thinking about your health but still want to participate in the tailgating festivities, bring along these snacks. They are sure to be a crowd pleaser, and they are good for you!

Honey Roasted Chickpeas

Roasted chickpeas are one of my not-so-guilty secrets when it comes to snacks. They are perfectly crunchy, and are lightly sweetened with honey and cinnamon to make them a real treat.


Coconut Almond Granola Bars

Why bring packaged granola bars when making them at home is way healthier and tastes so much better!


Easy Microwave Popcorn

All you need are popcorn kernels and a brown paper bag for this healthy snack! Forget prepackaged microwave popcorn. This one is healthier and you can flavor it however you like.

  2. I want the granola bars SO bad :D These are great ideas! Are tailgates the same as pot luck dinners? I love those, and sometimes my friend have them :D Much fun, and always exciting to see what people bring along :) x
