Mango Green Smoothie

I am a huge fan of trickery.

Halloween was one of my favorite holidays as a kid (although maybe that was for the candy), and I would never miss a chance to trick someone on April Fool's day. But when it's me being tricked.. Well I'm not so sure I'm a huge fan.

Let me elaborate. I have been contemplating whether or not to quit my job at Safeway. Well, I finally managed it. I know. I accept all of your congratulations. But without a job, I needed to find a way to earn some money that works with my schedule at school. The best way to do that is, of course, participate in psychology experiments. And don't get me started how much they love to trick the participants.

First I was tricked into thinking I was playing with a Ouija board with someone else while blindfolded, when that other person was part of the experiment and not touching the game at all. Next, I was tricked into thinking I was being observed by multiple people while I performed mental math just to stress me out. Next... well next is tomorrow. I'll be ready.

Now it's your turn. Your turn to perform a trick on someone you know who doesn't like veggies/fruit/eating healthy. Make them this smoothie, and tell them it's totally bad for them, filled with fat and ice cream and all that good stuff. Because when you take one sip of this smoothie, you might actually believe it. You might think "there is no way this smoothie is good for you".

If I was being tricked into anything, I would definitely want to be tricked into drinking this drink.

What you'll need:

-2 cups spinach
-1 banana, cut into coins and frozen
-1 mango, peeled and seeded
-1 cup coconut water
-1/4 cup Aloe pomegranate flavor drink

Directions:

   1.   Combine all ingredients in a blender, and puree until smooth.

  5. My kid is on a smoothie kick right now, and I basically make this exact smoothie for him every day! Except I make his with whole milk (because babies need the extra fat/vitamin D) instead of the coconut water/pomegranate drink.
