You know how it is. Late at night, haven’t the faintest clue what you are still doing up, and you get really hungry. Of course, you’re never really hungry for something healthy, it has to be some concoction of high calorie desserts. It’s the only way to go (okay..maybe I’m just describing myself now…)
Now this was something I whipped up late at night, so it was not very creative, but boy was it delicious! Maybe I have a different set of taste buds at night or something, because looking at this now, I’m just like “what are you doing you crazy woman?” I actually made it again, and loved it yet again. Maybe my taste buds have not yet developed.
Also, I only named it a trifle because it has layers. Honestly, I don’t know WHAT this is. But according to Wikipedia: “Trifle is a dessert dish made from thick (or often solidified) custard, fruit, sponge cake, fruit juice or gelatin, and whipped cream.” This thing has two out of the five ingredients. Score. Close enough.
What you’ll need:
-2 scoops vanilla ice cream
-2 tablespoons granola
-1/3 cup pre-made cherry Jello (make according to directions on box)
+whipped cream to top
1. In a small cup, layer your ingredients. Enjoy! (Too easy..)
